Roller Coaster Weather
What a crazy winter it’s been so far! North Carolina doesn’t usually have harsh winters, but this year we seem to be trying a little harder than usual.
My saddle bags stay full of everything imaginable - gloves, scarves, rain suit, chaps and hoodies - and I’ve used them all in the last two weeks. 18° one day, 65° the next!
Jacket, Vest or T-Shirt, I’ve ridden all but one day out of the last 30! Hope you’re able to get some rides in wherever you’re at…even just for the morning commute - they’re all worth the trouble.

AMEN! I keep my rain suit tied to the handle bars of my scoot (bandanna for the face) and plenty of snivel gear in the bags to keep the old body warm! Haven’t been doing much riding lately as I haven’t figured a quick way to adapt the springer into a snowmobile. The sun has started shining here lately though, it’s about time to take the scoots out of the living room and put them on the road!
