We get all keyed up when there’s a major rally on the horizon. We do our best to minister during these rallies or runs. But what do we do during those in between times when we are not in the middle of 100’s if not 1000’s of secular bikers? Friendship evangelism is the answer. That being said, we shouldn’t just minister to bikers that don’t know the Lord. We have brothers and sisters in the Lord that are lonely, going through difficult times,or just overwhelmed by the circumstances and problems of everyday life in ths sinful world. Secular bikers are big on brotherhood, but their style of brotherhood should pale in comparrison to Christian brotherhood. All we do and say to each other should encourage, bless, and strengthen our Christian family. Sharp tongues, smart answers, and sarcasm are not “what Jesus would do”. Our purpose toward each other should be to sharpen each other with the inspired word of God (Proverbs 27:17). The tools we need are wisdom, love, and peace. In this we will show unity in purpose & spirit, as well as portraying an example of how God ment people to live. So seeing as most all Christians agree there is one God-Father, Creator–One Son-Jesus, Savior–One Spirit-Helper,Guide; then what differences can there be between Christian ministries that can’t be overcome by the Greater Power and unity of our faith in the same Father, Son, and Holy Spirit? My personal goal and prayer for Christian biker ministries is to work together as the ultimate example of a brotherhood of unity and purpose. It does not matter what patch is on our backs. We all worship the same God, we are all saved by the precious blood of his only Son, and we all rely on the same Spirit for guidance. Until Jesus returns–Rooster
